Fraud Sbi card on my name since 2006 and affecting my cibil score

Hi team, I recently applied for a credit card with state bank of india, which was rejected on the grounds that I already hold a credit card with them since 005/ 2006 and there is a due of around rs. 000. Which came as a shock to me. As per sbi the user has made the payments till 009. Since then I have started receiving calls from sbi personnel stating that I need to pay atleast rs. ,000 to get this removed from my name. My trouble here is that I have never applied, received, seen or used the subject credit card. Additionally, I have never worked for or even visited the company listed in their records. I may have applied for some other card but my documents seem to have been misused. I have contacted them through calls & emails numerous times requesting to look into the matter as it is affecting my cibil report big time however there is no resolution by far. Secondly, they have started calling me every few days regarding the recovery. Kindly help me in getting rid of this off my head. Regards, munish kumar gaur
