Birla sunlife false issuance of bachat endowment plan under policy nos 005058502 & 005058463

To, date 04-08-12 manager, birla sun life insurance, mumbai. Subject: - fraudulently issuance of bachat endowment plan under policy nos 8502 & 463. (Scanned copy of policies attached) against the assurance of single premium (one time) plan by agent of company. Dear sir, last year in the month of july / Aug 2011 I was approached by business development manager bsli co ltd sec-9 chandigarh for investment in the single ( one time premium) policy of the company. After given to understand by the company official of single premium plan, I invested rs 00/- & Rs1,00,000/- Policy nos 8463 & 8502 respectively in my name and in the name of my wife ragini nanda. To my utter surprise, I have received premium renewal notice of the aforesaid policies last week and thereafter on my checking the policy details and getting confirmed from the local office I came to know that it is not the single premium plan but 20 years investment plan. As I am already 52 years old. I do not want to continue in the above mentioned policies for such a long period. It is requested to you that convert these policies in any of the single premium investment plans offered by your company under intimation to me immediately. The justification of the same is under: 1) I had invested in a somewhat similar plan under policy vide no 9852 (scanned copy attached) in 5/06 and paid 3 premium of rs 00/- Each and got the same surrendered in the year of july / Aug 2011.If I am discontinuing almost same existing policy, how I can reinvest in somewhat similar policies again for a longer duration 2) my present age is 52 years & my wife is 50 years old. It is not possible for me to opt for 20 years plan at this stage. The said agent(scanned copy of visiting card attached) got my & my wife’s signature on blank application form and then converted the same into 20 years bachat endowment plan. Above two facts clearly show the malafied intention of the authorized agent of insurance company. I therefore once again request you to convert the above policies to any of the single premium investment plans offered by bsli co ltd.
