Dear sir/Madam, this is with reference to my experience with ICICI prudential, its executives and its agent(smc) the following two policies were sold to me through unethical business practices. It was a proper planned trap by ICICI prudential and its agent. 1. ICICI pru guaranteed savings insurance plan (policy # 529) 2. ICICI pru guaranteed savings insurance plan (policy # 120) the detail about the issues was already communicated to ICICI prudential grievance cell and raised the issue till the grievance redressal committee, but still there is no concrete response from anyone. Everytime the same response”we are looking in to this matter”. It seems ICICI prudential representatives are intentionally trying to delay the process. Even they don’t want to listen to their customers. With all it seems both the ICICI prudential and its agents are involved in this entire process. Just a simple calculation: in this process if ICICI prudential can sell min 1 cr policies to 1 cr customers out of more than 100 cr population in india then they are making 5000 cr business. May be that is why there is no action from ICICI prudential so far. ICICI prudential is trying to make their business profitable through such an unethical means. I have written the complaint to irda in this regard, but still there is no response from irda. Don’t know why or what is the reason behind it? it was never expected. Whom to approach further? don’t you think if you get in to such a trap… you don’t have any option left as no one is going to listen nor respond to you. Then it’s better to not to trust anyone from ICICI prudential nor take any policy from ICICI prudential. There are already many victims and ICICI prudential is still selling policies like this. Before any ICICI prudential executive reply to this message, please go through the entire incident and the communication with ICICI prudential. I had made a simple request to ICICI prudential after waiting for a long time without any action from anyone. First I had asked to cancel the policies but they refused and reply that I have to continue this policy till next 3 years. That means I have to keep on paying annual premium amount rs 0000 pear year for another 3 years. Which I had never planned for. Further I asked them to atleast convert the premium amount paid for the said policies as a one time investment so that I need not worry on year on year basis. One of the ICICI prudential advisor said that this can be possible. For which I have to put a request. In response to that I have already sent the request to ICICI prudential but there is no response now from any one. I am sure that this is an intentional strategy by ICICI prudential and its agents to get business and make profit. further to my complaints regarding two policies (policy # 16434529 policy # 16604120) which were sold to me through fraud commitment by ICICI prudential representative today I.E 12th aug 2012 I received a call from another ICICI prudential representative named: rohan.
The call was received from number: 02230247036 and further from number: 02230247026. As per the ICICI prudential representative he was calling from ICICI prudential mumbai fort branch.
The ICICI prudential representative explained me that they have received my complaint. He told me my client ID and also confirmed that there is an loyalty bonus amount of rs 185000/- Appearing against my client ID. To receive this amount there is a pinnacle process. Also ICICI prudential is offering a bond with this amount. To get this amount I have to submit following documents: photograph pan card residential proof a cancelled cheque for bank details to transfer the amount and a cheque of rs 40000/- . With this ICICI prudential will process to cancel my earlier two policies and refund the money back as well as they will issue the ICICI prudential bond and also the loyalty bonus amount rs 185000/- Within a period of 6 months.
I replied that I don’t have rs 40000/-With me to put again and asked the ICICI prudential representative to cancel the earlier two policies and return the money back to me as in any case it is going to happen.
The ICICI prudential representative replied that he is going to discuss with his senior sh arun sharma (finance manager) and will comeback in this regard. So far there is no further communication from ICICI prudential representative.
Sir I request your intervention in this regard. As communicated earlier it seems ICICI prudential is trying to sell its policies through unethical business practices and cheat customers.
