Inverification certificate under rule 114(4)

Issuance of pan card has been tightened and this action is laudable. But to ask for a copy of the ID card of the gazetted officer, who attests your information, may not be correct and this may lead to some unwanted actions. It is recently been experience in the scam of issuance of sim cards, as the original owners who have submitted their copies of ID proof and address proofs were misused and sim cards were issued to the wrong persons and unsocial elements, which caused much embarrassment to the original owners. Hence I am of the opinion that to attest and note the phone number and organization details are sufficient. Hence I request the concerned authorities to please rethink and take an appropriate remedial action to save the situation. Thanks yours truly prem sagar # 9148
