Passport verification has been done still the online status shows its pending

I had applied for a passport along with all the required documents in 012. Police verification has been done and I was assured that my application would be forwarded for further processing. But after a couple of month when I check my status online it shows "police verification pending". My application no : lko a068089 12 dob : 01/08/1991 awaiting response , saurabh
