I received an apple cinema display on july 10, 2012 full of dents, scratches and over to that, monitor doesn't work. Before buying the monitor, I asked from the seller through textual messages through ebay's messaging system about its condition however, he told all lies about the monitor. Now, since ebay offers full protection to buyers with its policy for those who make payment through 'paisapay' so, I raised a claim (claim # 111) on the same day, I.E. July 10, 2012 itself. After talking to ebay, they said they take maximum 7 days to come back to the buyers after their investigation and if the seller himself contacts ebay then they speed up the process, then it doesn't take even 7 days. I told the seller to call ebay and tell about the situation, which he DID. (Besides the protection policy from ebay, seller had offered return). Now, today is 22nd july (I.E. 13th day), even after making 3-4 calls, I have not received any response from them as yet. I made a call to ebay on july 18, the agent (jaswant) assured that I would receive a call within 48 hours, I received no call. Then I called them on july 20 and talked with their supervisor sunil raj, he assured me that I would receive a call on same day, yet, I have not received any call from them. I know through my and my friends' long dealing with ebay india that it is highly unprofessional company. Even when I talked with sellers from whom I buy items from time to time, complain about ebay's worthless service. However, here my concern is not their unprofessional and worthless service. Here my concern is how to make ebay refund my money and get this junk monitor shipped back to the seller, in accordance to their buyer protection policy.
