Mts datacard was a terrible pain. I should never go back to them. I've a list of complaints against mts. 1.Sold wrong product 2.No connectivity 3.No response even after 30days 4.Dumbest customer care reps I've ever faced my mts card# 3390 complaints# c12-47952139 complaint#1: sold wrong product against mts dealer mr.Prakash: 8198 before buying mts data card, I enquired in just dial for mts data cards. Mr.Satish, mts dealer, called me and said there is an unlimited scheme in rs.899 pack(it is infact 999 including tax which I've not been told) and the speed will be high for first 12gb and after that the speed will be slow but still it'LL be free as it's anunlimited plan. He said it's a post paid one but they won't charge me anything above 899/Mo. I asked him a questions like 'why do they call it post paid when they don't charge anything above 899? and I'M interested only on pre paid, why should I go for post paid?". He said both are same and in prepaid there are many disadvantages like slow speed, poor customer service, etc.,. In postpaid, you'LL get only 899 bill and the fast and customer service will be very good. He ensured again there will not be anything more than rs.899 to pay per month. Why I call it as a wrong product? is below. 1.It's not 899 but 999. He didn't said it'LL be 999 including tax. Only after I found in internet and keep askin him, he accepted that. I feel mts makes a lot of such false promises to sell their products. 2.It has been 1 month since I've bought mts data card. It has never even connected for me except for 2 hours in between and I've used about only 50mb(the limit in this unlimited plan is 12gb), but a bill has been generated for rs.0.35. I've not even used 0.5% of their said limit, so how could I receive a bill for rs.0.35 when I've already paid for the three months in advance? I'M stumbled what would be the bill if I use it continuously. Complaint#2: no connectivity against mtsit's been more than 30 days now since I've bought the mts card. I'M keep calling them saying it's not even connecting. They are saying it's a signal problem. But it's not a signal problem which I'M 100% sure about. Their technical person made a check over phone and ensured that the device is the problem. But still they are not taking any effort. Customer care people says they din't receive any updates from technical team yet even when I said they found it to be a device problem. It sounds so scripted and robotic to me. Below is the calls and actions that I've taken again after 28 days. 3rd time complained on 5th july @ 10.25amcall rep: radha c12-47952139 received call from some mts# 0489 @ 10.59am, I din't attend as I was busy. Then whenever I called that number from .15, it was busy. I called back customer service @ 11.45am and made them know about the call skipped and asked them to arrange a call again. Mr.Sherlin called me from 7852 @ 12.46pm and checked the status. He finalized there is some problem in data card and will send some service person to repair the settings or to change the data card within a day. Spoke to mr.Santosh @ 4.37pm and he said that nothing was updated but the ticket is open. I may send acomplaint about mts to nodal.Tn@mtsindia.In/9150255255. Called mr.Sherlin(tech dept.) Again on 6.16pm, he said he has replied to the customer care dept. Immediately before 1.30pm. He also said that he cannot do anything now. Called mr.Prashant @ 6.24pm. Prashant said executive will come between 5-6pm on 6th july. Called mr.Prakash(mts salesman who sold to me) @ 6.33pm and explained the problem. He asked me to send my mts # saying he will try to find out the problem and let me know about it. There was no call back or anything from mts, so called mr.Prakash again @ 11.06am on 7th july. He promised to call back within 10 minutes. But even after 30 minutes, he din't call. He said his manager will call this evening and the problem would be definitely sort out before the end of 7th july. Called mts customer care and spoke to ms.Anita @ 3.52 on july 7th. She is not aware of what mr.Sherlin said and she is asking for another 48hours. No help here as well. And she disconnected the call abruptly. Compliant#3: no response even after 30 days it's literally more than 30 days now and I'M still struggling. No action yet. Complaint#4: dumbest customer care rep against mts customer care reps they don't know what they are talking. In one instance, ms.Anita(mts rep) was keep asking me to click on the disconnect button. I tried my best to explain her that there will be no 'disconnect' button when the device is not even connected at all. This conversation has gone for 15minutes and finally I finished the part lying 'yes, now I can see the disconnect button and I clicked on it'. Then she said this is what she was trying to teach me and asked me to click on the connect button(which was already present there. Funniest call ever for me.
