Kent ro water purifier not working properly

I live in bangalore. I bought kent ro & uv purifier around april 2011 ( 1 year and 3 months now ). Purifier suppose to take 0-40 mins to fill completely. I noticed that since last few months, it take 4-5 hours to fill up. Water rejection ratio is somewhere 0-25 liter for 1 liter of pure water. ( This was earlier 5-6 liter ). I raised the complain for which technician came and said as of now ro filter is working and I should get it changed for rs 2200 once it stop water all together. How the hell is rejecting 25l of water working ? kent never mentions anything about water rejection ratio so I don't even know if this problem would have started when product was within grantee. I cannot waste water like this, even if I store and reuse. Please suggest what can be done here. After reading so many complains about kent I am more hesitant in paying them rs 200.
