Passport renewal applied, but passport not received

Well, we have applied for renewal of passport as per appointment given I .E. 15-5-2012 ,we then received our police verification from local police station on 012, now.... after exactly 48 days...... and ater completing the procedures.... why our passport is been delayed... can anyone help us ????????

I have the same plight. I have applied on 02-may-2012 and till date I have not received my passport. Don't know what is wrong and why it is not happening?
