I reqested vodafone gprs service activation on april 6th over the phone with customer care executive, he explained the rs 299 3gb free download plan with national roaming free (for data). I was not told any terms and condition that that the 3gb discount is not applicable if I am in roaming. After 2 weeks I just checked my unbilled usage and I was shocked to hear that it was 000, so I called the customer care and he assured that it will be corrected when bill is generated as the amount I hear was incorrect and I dont need to pay any attention to that. After my bill is generated, I was shock to see my bill amount .00, and 1.00 was charged for my gprs usage. And I wondered how was it possible that bill reached to that amount as when I took the connection 4 years ago, my credit limit was rs 500. I had reached out to vodafone customer care, to get the answers of below 1. Why I was not informed about the charges if I am on roaming on different network (usually phone network selection is automatic and picks the operators network who has tie-up with vodafone). I got the response from vodafone that they will validate if it wasnot told, and after few days they apologised for the mis information given to me, and assured that action will be taken against the agent who misinformed me. But why should I be penalised for misinformation, I should get the amount reversed. 2. Why my consent was not taken to increase my credit limit, I would have stopped my internet usage. 3. Like always an sms is sent for voice roaming, gprs roming charges applied over and above the plan iss not sent to inform? after few calls to customer care agents I was barred to call customer care, as well my incoming services have been stopped as well, still I am getting monthly bills with late charges. I have been charged for last month rental for the services I am not using as vodafone barred this service. Regards rakesh
