On 19th june 2012 at 12:30pm I had recharged my prepaid mobile connection for rs.300 through airtel.In online payment. We got a sms alert that only rs.1.00 is getting credited towards talk time and the rest for processing fee and service tax. We called airtel customer care and they noted our complaint. Then they asked us to send an email. Which I DID today I.E.22nd june 2012 and I received a response from airtel that they never received any amount (rs.300) from me on 19th june 012. This is ridiculous. Airtel has responded to my issue very irresponsibly. I have a bank statement showing the transaction and the sms received from airtel but they boldly claim that there was no transaction. Just last month, I had recharged rs.200 from a shop and the same result. I was busy travelling and hence could not contact airtel. Airtel's customer service is the worst and they do not care for their customers. I am thinking of going to consumer court and seeking compensation for the harassment.
