Hey I choose to port my number to another service provider(vodafone) because of better plan in terms of data on 15th june'12. I got a call from airtel retention department on 16th june'12 and they offered me a plan which was not good as of vodafone and I declined. I called at customer care on 18th june'12 and activate the plan what they offered me but they simply declined and said its not in their hands and please shoot an email at @in.Airtel.Com and got a reply that they are unable to process my request. I don't understand why they committed if they are unable to deliver it. Please look into it and take an action against them. Thanks jattin.
