Appointment slot not available at any passport seva kendra in chennai

I have submitted the passport application form on 02/11/2011 (arn #: 079) and tried to get the appointment on any of the 3 psks in chennai. I am trying for nearly a week but always I get 'maximum number of appointments exceeded for the day.' or sometimes 'no appointment slots are available for selected psk'. I need to go to some browsing center everytime and get the same response everytime. Even if I call the support call center I don't get a professional response. Few things are not clear on the website and I am struggling to get some pointers for nearly a month. I'D say it is a crap website just gets our info and doesn't provide any other use. The call center guys told me daily after 6 pm the slots open. If that's the case why no info provided on the website? regarding appointments no faqs as well. Either go back to old form at least where wait time also is more and now the frustration is more. Is govt planning to indirectly approach passport offices via brokers? how come they are able to alone get an appointment? who can help me and many people like me struggling like this?
