Reliance insurance being offered by fake irda representatives
22-10-11 customer relation dept authorised by irda called claiming that our insurance policy with aviva is expiring and there is bonus to be released by irda. He also mention the cheque number and amount. The policy is my father in law's name. He told to release the bonus we have to invest in reliance insurance for the amount of 000. 23-10-11 they called again and my father in law referred my contact. I spoke to them and asked from where are they calling. They told they are calling from customer relation department of irda. There were 2 persons. V k oberoi and punit khanna (not sure if this was their real name) the call came from a noida number 0120 904. He also gave his moble number 403. I asked them how come govt organization is open on sunday. He replied they have too many files to clear so they are working. Then I asked why is irda interested in getting investment for reliance. He told that reliance and aviva have tieup. If I had reliance policy for bonus then he would have suggested aviva. I told him to give time to think and verify. He told that if we take time in taking decision then the bonus will get stuck and go to the aviva agent who will not give it to us. I told the agent to call back tomorrow -11. I DID research on net and found that many people had complained regarding this. I called the number from where I got call but it was diverted to some mobile and was not reachable. -11. V k oberoi and punit khanna called again. I asked them to send a mail to me to confirm that there is bonus and we need to invest. He told that they will send hard copy once we confirm the investment. He DID not agree on sending mail. I asked him to send his scanned copy of icard so that I can verify if he is from irda. He told that these things they dont do for prime minister also. Please make others aware of this fraud. Grab the culprits and track them thorugh the mobile number and land line number.

the only way that I can think of is to report this issue to the insurance agencies or probably you can file an fir and register a case of fraud against these people and you can mention their contact numbers and all other details along with policy numbers. You may also contact cnbc awaaz and see if they can help you out.

now a new funda aopted by these people. Now a days they are calling from these numbers ie. From mumbai 022-30247026 to 35 . I got multiple calls on 4th nov they are asking to invest more in reliance insurance for more 4 years (as I alredy invested in single premium plan. I was cheated with other fake commitments). Next day I got call from ak walia (mobile no . 8459762920) and he was also asking same thing to invest more atleast 30 k.. he was saying 30 k is very small amount and anybody can invest. I dont know how that guy is earning this much amount in a short time as per him it is very small amount.
I also got such call from last three days no. Is 9015194305 and 9015194705. There are two persons namely rajeev bhatiya and rahul agrawal. They are insisting me to be registered in new reliance co. For getting my bonus value which is stuck in bajaj allianz life insurance co. When I asked them to give their details which should be in the irda site if they are govt. Employees they denied. Now I am very much sure what I have to do.........thank you all

2. Harpreet - senior of neha in irda and really concerned about me for being cheated by kotak life insurance agent while selling me the policy. Eager to get me the refund of my policy.
3. Abhinav mittal - C.A. Of da vision loyalties which is the investment house for kotak. Asks me to send him my annual premium (bypassing kotak) directly so that he can get the policy refunded.
