1st issue I was using VMC service provided by vodafone. I was not getting any notification regarding activation and deactivation of the service and I was charged unnecessarily for it after the pack expired or the limit crossed without any notification. So I called on 15th feb 2011 on customer care and told about my issue. The executive told me that I am forwarding your number to my senior and your problem will be resolved and you will start getting notifications now. On this I asked him whether I have to confirm it by calling after 3-4 days. He said there is no need to call. So I didn't call them to confirm assuming that my problem has been resolved. But after some days when the limit got crossed, I didn't get any notification regarding the same and I was charged unnecessarily. At that time my balance was near about rs. 250. I was using it and it stopped working all of the sudden. I then checked the balance and it was around rs. 80 in negative. I was very shocked to see that. So I went to vodafone store, mohali. Firstly, the executive misbehaved with me. It was 7:25 when I reached there and the closing time of the store is 7:30. I requested the executive to enter but he didn't listen to me and said that the store is close now. On this I asked him to check the time. Then he said we don't work according to time in your watch. As I am using a vodafone number, my time gets updated when I use it. So my mobile shows the same time as the system of vodafone shows. Then the store manager came and listened to me. He asked me to come the next morning and when I went there the next morning, he said we can't do anything in this as you have been charged correctly. 2nd issue I was getting miss calls from 5121 from so many days. Every time it got disconnected in 1-2 seconds without giving me any time to take that call. Then one day again I got a miss call from that number. I called on that number out of frustration that somebody is disturbing me. But I was charged for that call. 3rd issue as they were not solving my problem, so I thought of mnp. I went to airtel office to inquire for the same. They said you have to give the same address which is there in the system of your current service provider. I submitted the documents recently when we all were asked to submit them as all the telecom operators were asked to get the latest documents and verify them. I gave mohali address where I was staying at that time. But still the system is showing the same old address of ludhiana. As the store employees were not able to solve my problem, I sent a mail to the nodal officer vikram bains CC to vodafonecare.Pun@vodafone.Com. I wrote them about my problem but now they are not listening to me and solving my problem. They asked me to submit a fresh set of documents with a written application to get the address updated in the system. They are saying that your had been charged correctly for calling on that number as you called on it. And on may 2nd, 2011 morning I was again charged for using gprs, when the limit crossed and I was not sent any notification regarding the same. Vikram bains, replied in his mail that system is showing that we have been sending you notifications regularly as and when required. But the reality is that I am not getting any. I have written to him a number of times, but still there is no positive response from their side. I am still not getting any notifications regarding VMC activation, deactivation and limit cross. They have charged me unnecessarily for calling on that number. How would I know that this is the number for promotion or for premium services. I used to get miss calls from other numbers also which vodafone used for promotional activities, but whenever I called back on them, I was charged only 10p. When I told one of their customer care executive that I am getting miss calls from these numbers, they said it's not possible. My friends were also getting miss calls from these numbers. They asked me to activate the dnd service. This is not the solution for it. I won't be able to get calls from others just because I am getting miss calls from vodafone numbers used for promotional activities. I had submitted the documents two times. Why should I submit them again. Why I have been getting miss calls from that number and why I am being charged unnecessarily for using VMC when vodafone is at fault?? I am asking this again and again and today morning also I have written to them regarding the same, but they have no solution for it. The companies are exploiting their customers by charging them unnecessarily. Like me, the customers might be having the same problems and mis-leaded by the company's employees.
