I'm a 5+ year old Airtel Prepaid customer. The connectivity of airtel is too good. But I don't know whether they take advantage of this and charge us more than what we use. I had a pretty descent tariff plan activated to my number. Much more before the tariff expiry date, I was being charged unreasonably. To rectify this, I made a call to the customer care- complaint helpline. There they gave me a reason saying that the tariff validity got expired. Later after a long argument, he/she agreed that it was a technical fault from them and will get it rectified. But the problem wasn't rectified. To again inform this, I tried calling again where as this time, they had blocked my calls to the customer care. Did all sorts of efforts to rectify this by calling from other airtel number. The same false promises continued from their side. I was tired to continue with them. Hence I went to Vodafone store and standing there, requested for UPID by sending the port message to 900. I got the UPID 2 days later. I really don't know what they are trying to prove. I still couldn't get my number ported. I also got a call from the back-end team asking me to stay with airtel and gave me a satisfactory offer and said that the plan will be activated in 72hrs. It's been more than a month and half till date. Neither the plan got activated nor my calls go to the customer care. I'm just waiting and waiting seeing myself getting ripped off.
