Withholding complete information

On 04 jun 11, I & my wife visited the reliance trends showroom at palakkad & made few purchases. Before we made our payments we were told that there was an offer of rs 1000 worth free purchase coupons on every rs1999 worth of purchases. So we decided to come in the evening as we had to purchase garments for our children. In the evening when we started our purchases, we repeatedly enquired from the staff if there were any conditions to the offer. We were told that we could purchase rs 1000 worth garments between 20 jun & 10 jul. We made purchases worth rs 2516 & were given coupons for rs1000. However, the staff specified at this time that we had to make purchases worth another rs2000 between 20 jun to 10 jul to avail this offer. The franchises are duping the customers by witholding the necessary info. Reliance is a reputed company & doesn't have to resort to such cheating/Fraudulent practise to make profits. Even without such offer people would like to shop at reliance.
